paypal account without being verified?

Hello Hivers, i will just get some money to my Paypal account, but my problem is this:
-im going 2 be receiving some money from another paypal user and im not verified and im wanting to know if i can accept this money and keep it in my account, and use it to buy some games online, without having a verified Paypal account.

I am not a big paypal user. I used it to donate to the hive but you can do that without making an account so..

However I doubt there would be anything to stop you from buying a game on an account that has money on it but isn't verified. As said, I am not sure about this but it sounds really stupid if they would not permit it.
