Is there a way to pause a unit animation?

Yeah but the issue is I want to pause it at a certain time.

You can set animation speed to a high value, not sure if there is a cap. Then pause at the correct point. So it has a bit of delay. You can estimate the needed pausing delay by selecting the model and looking at the anmation's duration in the preview window.
