Patch problem

Now i have another proplem with patching. When i install patch, the error appears. It says, that

Blizzard PrePatch v2.70 compiled on Jul 7 2003
This program patches Warcraft 3

Log created at 5:12 pm on 11/26/2006

Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath'
The system cannot find the file specified.


RESULT: Prepatch failed

It also wants me to reinstall the game, but it does not help at all.
What can i do? :?:

Well, obviously the registry key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath' is broken. This happens if you move the war3 directory to another place after you installed it.
This should not happen if you install it completely new, though. Did you try to move the patch to you war3 directory and execute it from there?

maybe download the stand alone patch and retry?
