I am terribly sorry to bother anyone with such a simple problem, but it seems that after I updated to 1.4 whenever I open a map the terrain appears to be either pink or gray. To elucidate the matter it is as if a gray, or in some cases pink, fog is overlaid atop everything. It looks just like what video-editors would call a "mask". I have tried all the "view" panel options and the only one that has any effect is the "show terrain" option, as per which if the terrain is hidden all remaining objects look normal (as in "the "fog" is tied to the terrain in some manner").

Help is much appreciated.

Of course u can has screen shut.

File "Pink.jpg (pink.jpg)" depicts StarCraft 2 Editor normal start up.

File "No pink.jpg (no-pink.jpg)" depicts rotation of camera, using horizontal axis as an anchor.

I know others have the same problem, I found such a thread in some Battle.net forum, but no solution has been found there,

Yeh I had that exact problem initially but I fixed it nearly instantly by changing various vew settings (such as the brush list). Now it no longer occurs.

Try deleting your options file and seeing if that makes a difference. It is under your account's documents in the StarCraft II folder (Variables.txt and EditorVariables.txt).

I have the same problem and deleted the two files mentioned. No change.

Sorry to double post. But I turned off my fog effects and the pink was gone.
