So i created a WoW like movement + Camera System and I ran into a problem.
Since my terrain is not done i have alot of open space and whenever my pitch is so low that i can see forever i get MASSIVE lag. My computer is a laptop so its not the best but when i face the other direction ihave about 30-100 FPS and then it drops to 3FPS. I heard that terrian fog made in the data editor can obscure vistion but will this reduce my lag?
Thank you in advance.

Sorry, gave it the WC3 name...

In StarCraft II they call it "Distance - Far Clip". Set it to a low value (like 20) and it should greatly improve performance. Obviously it will degrade graphic quality by creating a visual effect you will remember from consoles of your youth such as the PS1 and N64. It is called "draw distance" in professional terms.
