Pastebin Entry Checkbox

My entries have reached 163 and I was thinking that it's about time I delete everything I don't need. But it's rather hard to do that with the page refreshing per delete, so may I suggest a checkbox and a delete button?

It's a dangerous plan you have. If any of the content in the pastebin is linked to threads you will invalidate part of those threads. That's not nice.

Most of the entries I am deleting are personal backups (in case my PC storage dies for some reason, I back my current projects up).

Well then, I would just hold CTRL down and click on all my backup entries, then having them open as a new tab. Go through each and click delete.

I think this is a good suggestion, but DAAAANG. 163?? I didn't know users could make that many... How many KMGB?

^It's not difficult once you find a use for it.
For instance I've made over 40 Pokemon teams for pokemon showdown use on any computer.
Also random pictures, notes, school work and maps for all I know.

It's either pastebin or use a different storage website and I just use hive a bunch so it's convenient for me.

@Kyrbi0, I don't really know, how do I tell? Mostly are just models, maps, and sometimes sigs when they're WiP.

I once asked somebody to delete two TV show episodes = 200 MB, that was a waste of space. You putting up backups of your stuff and school work. I like that.

Kyrbi0, if you post a pastebin entry related to a thread and then delete the entry, part of the thread will be missing as the link will no longer work.

Ooh, watch out there, Ralle; it almost sounds like your condoning us using the Hive as a personal storage. No faster way to run outta storage space/bandwidth. : ) Personally I'm thinking of doing something like that...

Ok, I understand that "part of the thread will be missing". But I'm not quite clear on what that means, exactly. Will there be an actual 'hole' in the page or something?

If it's just a matter of "the link won't work/will point to nothing/Error 404", that's really not a big deal. Annoying for historians (like myself), sure; but it's a fact of life on the Internet. Temporary stuff isn't always there when you get back to it. That's not a big problem.

I care! Especially when its contests and tutorials. We have already deleted multiple tutorials because the images hosted by photobucket are gone.

Oh! That stinks... I mean, sure the images were gone, but the Tutorials may still have contained useful information. :< I guess that's kinda what I'm talking about; it doesn't/shouldn't invalidate the whole thread; just the pictures attached to it.
