Story: (The story suck, so please help me out with it)
Marble city was once a peacefull place to live in. At the same time, the worlds terrorists needed a place ti hide out and protect themselves. Marble city's police department had no other choise than to surrender to the massive terrorist force. While the terrorists created a huge barricade around the city and protected the city from incoming enemy forces, the police department held order in the city. Some villagers of Marble decided to stand up against the terrorists, and they still do.

You, a villager, wants to do something with your life. You start off with nothing at all. Now what do you do ? Join the terrorists and hope they will protect you. Join the riot against them ? Or simply stay out of the battle, and do what you where ment to...Survive!

Features:

*When finished, the map will have 9 different jobs. Some of them will even require education

*An unique system, that allows you to interact with most of the villagers in the game. When you do so, they will say something to you. What they say will be based on many things. Such as if you're famous, if you're dressed well, if you smell bad, and lots of other things

*You can buy a house, or more if you wish. When you buy a house, there's no furniture in it what so ever. You have to buy it yourself and put in your house. A system I have created, will allow you to place and rotate the furniture

*Cars. You will be able to buy cars in the game. And like in real life, your car needs some sort of fuel to run. Though if you don't wish to buy a car, you may call for a taxi and let it drive you to certain locations

*Clubs, farms and factorys are something you may buy ingame. And why buy them ? To make money.

-Without giving away to much info about the map, I can tell you this;

*If you use your imagination, you may accomplish loads of things. For an example. Say the city has a bank, and a bank vault. Every now and then an armed truck drives between the two buildings. Think about it; An armed truck driving between a bank and a bank vault ? It has to transport money, or what ?

There are loads of other features, but I'm not going to expose them all.

FAQ:

Q - I have played LOAP and other similar maps, and I seem to get bored of them after playing a few hours. Same deal with Operator's Real Life RPG ?

A - I'm trying really hard to include small features to make the game fun. So if you get bored of the main gameplay, you will be able to do small quests and do fun stuff such as going to a casino

Q - Can I play alone ?

A - Yes you can, but it will be much more fun playing with your friends.

Q - How long will it take to play the map

A - Players decide that themselves in a way. If you really don't ''enter'' the main gameplay, You will never get done.

Q - When will you release the map ?

A - When it's done :)
__________________________ Please ask questions in this thread :)

I will have a beta test when I feel the map is ready for it. I will release the beta in this thread when it's time

I will have a beta test when I fell the map is ready for it. 5 slots open. Write in the thread to sign up. As a beta tester you need to look for bugs. And when you find one, write it down in notepad, and send the txt file to me. You also need to look at things such as game balance.

Current Beta Testers:
Bob27
The_wand_mirror
ultramega
Shados

Why you hosting a closed beta? why not just submit the map and ask people to find bugs for you since that way you will have more people testing it.
Well anyway sounds like a decent map but does it have save/load? one of the most annoying things I find in real life type maps is I get a decent hero and then suddenly everyone has left because it took me 5 hours. . .
Anyway I might play it when it is realsed or if someone realses your beta version on open Bnet. . .

Yea, yea. Lets just forget that :) Now, I need some help. I want my map to still be fun if you choose not to follow the gameplay. So, I need many small cool features. Can you help me coming up with some of them ?

What is already possible in the map:
*Playing the piano, and if you're good enough you can try to record a song. and then perhaps sell it
*You can buy clubs, farms and factorys
*Quests outside mainplay
*Robbing the bank is possible, you just have to be really smart : p

You know what would really be good is if you could make a feature that allows player to save/load their property. Properties that include houses, clubs, jobs, and quest progress... I would say levels and items won't be a good one for this type. You should also make the jobs serious, so that people don't shift jobs that easily, for example you become a Hitman you take it as your life, if you want to shift you have to start over again from the bottom, you see what im talking about? great, anyways if you need help with that save/load coding, I would be willing to help you

Saving houses and such won't be possible. I mean, what if more than one player has saved the same house ? And, the jobs; You need education for it. And perhaps when the first version is out, I will create a system that set your skill in different professions. And then you need a certain skill to get the job

Well it is true in some ways, but also false in another way. To save the houses you could make it in the form of a contract paper. Or maybe you can't really save for the houses but you can make apartments that has rooms equal to the amount of maximum players playing. That way when there is a clash you could move one to another room.

Nothing I can do about that I'm afraid :/

Now listen:

When a player does not have a weapon he attacks with his hands. Though when he gets a weapon, the weapon is attached to his hands, and when he attacks he shoots bullets. Can you help me creating such a thing ?

~Operator

And yes, you may join the test team :)
