AFAIK, it should be 'returns nothing', but a returned value?

method operator []= takes string s, integer i returns real
   return 5.0 //how to display/return?

static method operator []= takes real r, string s returns integer
   return 1234 //how to display/return?

In case it wasn't clear enough, the operator [] returns a value. The operator [] is for setting a value.

[] would be to get a value, for example: set myVar = myStruct[5]
[]= would be to set a value, so that operator returns nothing. for example: set myStruct[5] = 10

I know how to use operators so no need to explain, but Im sure that both of you didnt get
what I mean, let me rephrase, as you know, I have posted operators with 2 arguments, I
want to display a return value using those, not with 1 argument...

If it's not possible then please say so...thanks ...

You can't.
However you can use a struct argument, and then virtually use as many arguments as the number of struct members.
