Opening .blp file in Magos

I am trying to open a .blp file with Magos but is gives me this error:

Error: "The file is not a BLP texture!"

Originally it was a Jpeg that I converted to .blp using Warcraft 3 Viewer



It's not a problem with the image itself, this happens no matter what Jpeg I convert to .blp and try to open in Magos. If I DL say an icon or skin from this site Magos will open it just fine but not when the BLP was originally a Jpeg that I just converted.

Any ideas?

Is the dimension and size of the jpeg size of 64p / 128p / 256p ?
wc3 needs them to work anyways.

Yeah, must be a 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024 or other square size.
