Omega weird and incomprehensible icon

It's just one of those times when you stare at an icon and you're like omg it resembles nothing meaningful.

At first I thought it was some adjacent continents like Africa & North America but that's bullshit for wc3's lore. Anyone with a good imagination care to explain?

Man, ur the best hepler man.

I see some bear-like face in the upper right corner. The other 2 black things (middle left and right) could be his paws.
The black fragments middle bottom are random, so is the teal background.

What's this one used for in-game?

There are more icons of which I had to look really closely to see what they actually were.
Bash, evasion, critical strike, curse (for the longest time I thought that was a necromancer's hand and sleeve ).
Even the dwarven long rifle took me some time to understand.
This one's still confusing, though (I figured out the others).

I think its a bird
to me it looks like:
the lower "island" is his jaw, the middle one is tongue, the upper one is nose and the rest is face, there is even hole for eye!

it looks like a parot face to me or maybe a eagle. it's the morph for boomkin druid in WoW

Yeah... that's probably it. I googled Moonkin and it does resemble it a little .

I believe that icon shows the Shredder's chest from an angle.

I guess it makes sense to be a bird, the problem is I just can't see it.

Yeah, the icon is so damn confusing.

It really does! The icon looks like some kind of balloon with an eye and 2 large teeth.

It's this reason that when playing a map I really don't care what an icon looks like unless there are icons that are the same. I mean you could use any icon for anything because if you look at them from the right perspective they can be anything. I mean use the flute as a staff and try and tell someone thats wrong. I use the poison arrow icon for various unrelated things, the most related being spears. (if I am not mistaken there are like two different poison icons, one looks like a tentacle...)
I personally believe that all the premade icons are so multipurpose that they serve no purpose whatsoever. That is however my opinion, and while my opinion is better than gold, it's forbidden to trade, making it just as worthless as anyone elses.
