Everytime I post on a thread/Quick reply it subscribes me, and getting all the mail in my inbox is really annoying.

To expand on the details:
Look in your User CP under Edit Options.
In the panel entitled "Default Thread Subscription Mode", change the option to "Do not subscribe".
