NewGen Editor on laptop?

I was wondering if anyone knew if NewGen editor worked on laptops or not (cause it doesn't work at all on mine....yet regular editor works fine). It has Windows Vista on it, if that means anything. Hopefully, at the very least, there's some program that can make it work for a laptop.

Maybe it's your antivirus? Do you need admin to make it work? Not exactly sure, just listing some possible reasons.
