new model for Leroic in Dota

Intro:
Hi i'm nekdolan and I'm new...dejavu. I'm an experienced Dota and previous DiabloI player. I s*ck at modelling so please help me out !
Project:
I wish to give Leoric a new model since the curent one doesnt fit him too well. The original Leoric was the second boss of Diablo1 and he was added to Dota (Defense of the Anctients) some time ago.
Request:

• Name: Leoric, The skeleton king
• Type: model edited
• Details: I alredy found a very good model here, but it's 'incomplete': https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource.php?t=49070&prev=s=skeleton&d=list&r=20 The problem with this model is that Leoric needs a crown! He's a King so he shouldn't be bald! I reqest a skeleton model with a two handed sword and a crown!

Now we have that envoker... giant waste of file size.. It makes no sense, Leroic's essence is captured in the WC3 skelly model, does anything else really matter?

You could give him a crown attachment on his head, just try to find one w/ google or request one

^ That's a great model, but sadly doesn't looks like Skeleton King. And it's size is kind of big.

You can try atlyre's Skeleton Blademaster model for use with your character. I couldn't find a crown attachment in this site or in Wc3Campaigns though.

Even if the model is made, there isnt a 100% chance it will be in dota.

yes im doubtfull it would be in dota because they try to limite their custom models due to file size and there isnt relly anything rong with the wc3 skelly in my opinion but neverless i think the model should be made

yo don't post the same link that I included please. Wether the new model gets aproved depends on Icefrog, but I can garante that without a model nothings gona change.

Yeah i know, i couldnt find a crown attachment too ><, the only i know that has a crown on him is this model : https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/resource.php?t=52976&prev=s=king&d=list&r=20

But i think i saw a lich king/arthas helmet which looks like a crown in a map, dont remember which thought, just check throught google or THW's models...

I made a crown for Leoric. You would probably be better off just attaching it rather than using my (hideous) Leoric attempt [still a WIP].

@HappyTauren I would prefer that. And if you would attach it to the skeletonblademaster, would help a lot. I tried to edit myself, but it didn't work out well.

This is my original sugestioan wich needs 3 more votes to get it potentionaled! I have curently 47 votes 40 T.UP 7 T.DOWN, but this isn't about the model even though I highly recomend a new model!

As long as I don't have a new model I can't make any kind of suggestion, and if it doesn't look cool it will be rejected.

Anyways, if there's one scientist that sas the new model will be aproved that meens I have 10% chance to suceed, and that is more than enough to try.

you could do something "cheaper", i'd say, the gem could be just texture, the horns could be less detailed, and i'm not sure if those arent ingame textures, if they arent, try find some, i'm sure it wouldnt be that hard and it would save space

whoa, great work with the teture remap...though...well, you're a mod, so i'm even afraid to say this, but isn't there a rule that forbids one to modify other people's work? that's why i sugested an attachement on the first place

I have only merged an attachment onto a model Model was fully edited by its creator (look in resource section) so credits goes to him for the model, for an attachment and icon I get credits

why did you remove gem on its head? Also the way he holds the blade is wrong, it doesnt look like he is using both hands.

Did I remove the gem? I thought it was just a viewer bug > < . I'll try again, but a mod on the DotA forum just wants to attach your crown to the normal Skeleton's head.
