The story of DarknessChasersIII continues the story of DarknessChasersII. When the boss Death itself (the big boss in DarknessChasersII) was killed by the Heroes (which are controled by users/you), he was not killed entirely. While his body was slain, his mad and evil spirit still lived on. This spirit of Death itself had only one goal, taking revenge on the ones who slain them by horrifically tainting their names. To accomplish this, his spirit entered the bodies of the Heroes. Your job as a player in DarknessChasersIII is to take one of the Heroes who Death's spirit controls and to kill a high holy priest to complete Death's twisted plan.



Plays like Blizzard's Warchasers, but has more rpg feel to it and the maps are more open.



Thor, Race: Viking
Ruler of storms and wearer of Mjolnir, Thor is capable of dealing high lightning damage and has some destructive hammer skills. Unit ability: Smash.

Undead Warden, Race: Skeleton
Mistress of confusing, the Warden is capable of seperating entire armies and creating here own clone army. Unit ability: Spell Shield.

Balnazzar, Race: Vampire
Vampires are fast, agile and deadly. They're best in diseasing enemies and delivering the fatal blows. Unit ability: Demoralize.

Felguard, Race: Demon
Felguard are tough and skilled demon warriors. They're capable of summoning fel hounds as their companions, creating towers and holding enemy units at bay. Unit ability: Taunt.

Sieger, Race: Fel Orc
Armed with a small ballista and capable of using bolt enchancement skills. Unit ability: Demolish.

Lich, Race: Skeleton
The Lich is specialised in slowing enemies and in dealing heavy area damage with its deadly arsenal of spells. Unit ability: Lich's Call.

Black Widow, Race: Spider
Armed with deadly venom, Black Widows are feared for there ability to strike fast and deadly. Black Widows carry their young in battle. Unit ability: Web.

The Butcher, Race: Robot
This huge lumbering thing is capable of weaken enemies severally and empowering itself. Unit ability: Radiation Cloud.

Ripper, Race: Cyborg
Armed with a saw and installed parts, the Ripper is capable of transfering his blood and emotions in his advantage. Unit ability: Adrenaline.

Warlock, Race: Unbroken
The Unbroken have risen from underground, trying to rule the world once again like in the old times and bringing chaos to it. Being one from the forgotten ones, Unbroken master ancient and powerfull abilities. Unit ability: Animate Dead.

* triggered and unique abilities.
* supports tactical thinking:
-> Use traps to your advantage.
-> Some abilities work more effective when used in combos.
-> Strategic points.
* max Hero level is now 20.
* new item system:
-> You can carry only 1 weapon at a time.
-> You can carry only 1 body armor at a time.
-> You can carry only 1 shield at a time.
-> Stackable items system.
* Personal stash which moves long with your hero.
* difficulty system based on:
-> amount of players in the game.
-> optional modes (Easy, Hard).
* dozens of custom items and each one unique in it's own way.
* imported stuff.

Woah... III already? We've only released the beta of Demise of the Death God xD... The idea.. As in the last one is good.. But i dont even care to say about the terrain though o_O.. Cause i'd say same as i said from the II :D
, it is still in ~alpha so there's still a long way to go ;), terrain is WIP and I don't think it needs godlike terrain, I will try to make the best of it though.

I can throw you some terraining tips at some place, when everything else is pretty much completed ^^ If you need ... just ask
, when I see the mine again, you probably could give me tips about every piece of my terrain ;D. It just doesn't even look like warcraft 3 engine anymore, more like a dungeon siege 2 engine. But of course, when I'm finished with it, be my quest ^^.

nice project! i like the use of small sfx models in the terrain. The terrain is also pretty well. Good luck on this project i wish you the best.

edit: i tried putting on and it works. now onto textures.. maybe i will upload it onto thw. without ur permission i wont ofc.

sad that attachments doesnt work on the potrait :/
