stick the hive on the map and i think we should tell clan members they have to join the forum before they are in, i have seen lots of clan members are unsually inactive or not registered, both on wc3 and here.

This is true, just because they claim membership does not mean they actually are registered.

suggestion-make two memeber groups on the forum, clan members and non-memebers then u can keep tabs who who is still active in the clan, its no good having 70 people in it if only 15 of them are ever online

What are you talking about? Give an example please.

its an administration option, each person is given a user group, atm we are all under the group memebers, there are other groups for admins and mods and so on.. if u made a group for clan members you could be aware of when they are online and if they are regularly active. this would make it easy when doing adminitration work making sure we dont have any ded-heads in the clan.

What I am confused about, however, is are you suggesting that there is 1 mod per non-mod member? Or do you mean 2 mods per area\topic inside of the main forum?

nooo!!!!! ok what i mean is

there are things called user groups, these are allocated to everyone that even visits the forum

moderators are classed as moderators
admins as admins
normal users and members as members
and guests as guests

however groups can be added and edited, for example you could set a person as a moderator and they get new privalages. what would be the best thing to do is to add a completely new group called clan memebers, then each person who is a clan memeber would be put into this group. the groups would have no extra privalges or ne thing but there would be a few major benifits.

1. you can keep tabs on clan memebers, like when they are active and stuff, this would help in the selection and de-selection of people to kick.

2. makes the web site a bit more tidy

3. makes it abvious who is in the clan

Ah, ok, I know what you mean, I did something similar for Brotherhood of the Front for Horizons. Are people able to post here without registering? If so I highly recomend disabling that feature as it can lead to a lot of trouble.
