I was working on the story of "Reborn From the Ashes", and same as always, it grew from a simple story into a complicated tale with many unnecessary plot twist. The storyline, before something went wrong in my brain, was about a band of scarlet crusaders being redeemed after slaying corrupted bretherns into some sort of old god-killing frenzy.

So, it is told from five different points of view,

Scarlet Crusade side - the original "Reborn From the Ashes" storyline, involving the crusaders recruiting new members and with the help of Argent Dawn, slain the Dreadlord Balnazzar, establishing the organization known as the Scarlet Aegis. Later, the Scarlet Aegis is informed of the great evil growing in Thorndroril and joined force with the Sin'dorei Blood Knights, forming the "Sanguinar Judgement".

Grimwolf Clan side - With Arthas Menethil dead, the Undead Scourge is declining. Darglaw Grimwolf of the Grimwolf Clan was tasked to kill off the scourge remnants in Northrend. Darglaw however was not thrilled with the idea of taking care of others' leftover. During the battle at Onslaught Harbor, he heard a strange voice that promise him power if he obey the voice. Darglaw did obey and later found out that the voice was of the dreadlord Mal'Ganis, who asked Darglaw to join him in Twisting Nether.

In Mal'Ganis' homeworld, Darglaw aid the Dreadlord in killing other dreadlords, taking the planet for Mal'Ganis. During the process, Mal'Ganis, with the help of Mo'arg demons, reforged the runeblade Frostmourne and made Darglaw the new Lich King. After slaying all other dreadlords that stand in his way, Mal'Ganis proclaims himself as the Dreadking, determined to return to Azeroth and kill The Lich King that was left in Northrend, regardless of the soul inside it. Mal'Ganis then turns his gaze on Lordareon, and tells Darglaw of an ancient power buried underneath an area known as Thorndroril.

Forsaken side - Since the Banshee Queen is busy fighting in the south, Nathanos Blightcaller became the temporary ruler of the Forsaken in Lordareon. Nathanos sent an army to deal with the Scarlet Seperatist, but the city was later assaulted by Blacktide Naga led by Tidebaron Gardron. The Banshee Queen return only to see Undercity in ruins. With the help of the Sin'dorei, the Banshee Queen expels the Naga from Lordareon and joined "Sanguinar Judgement" in Thorndroril.

Naga side - As the catalycsm goes on, Tidebaron Gardron knows that the chance of meeting up with his master is at hand. The tidebaron invades Lordareon and later moves into Thorndroril, meeting his master, the old god Cthagnor.

Sin'dorei side - The story follows a female Blood Knight only known as Rhaella on the harsh continent of Northrend. Later, Rhaella was revealed to be Rhalle Dawnseeker, daughter of the bearer of Quel'Delar. After killing Blood King Theraldis of the New Scourge, Rhaella returns to Quel'Thalas, discussing the possibility of alliance between blood elves and human. The result of this discussion is the "Sanguinar Judgement".

All 5 plots eventually lead to Thorndroril, the habitat of an Old God imprisoned by the titan Aggramar, Cthagnor. While the demons under Mal'Ganis fought with the Blacktide Naga, the Sanguinar Judgement consist of Scarlet Aegis and Sin'dorei will try to prevent the aweakening the old god Cthagnor.

I feel something is going very wrong in the storyline but I cant tell where...
It may be the old god that makes this awkward...any suggestion to make this better?
