Hello, so I've been lurking in this forum from like 2006 and just recently decided to come out.
So here are some terrain pics from a map I've been working on, of course they are all playable. So... tell me what you think of them and what you think of me as a terrainer.

I don't find them that good (I wont go into detail right now, too tired) but I still gave it a 3 as it's better then most that you see on battle.net

These seem to serve their purpose as playables, and I thus give them a four. Some have better detail and model use than others though. I like that you have a lot of variation in your terrain. What I did not like, was the typical fence around the unit thing you did in picture 14. I suggest you remove it.

The last picture seems the most interesting, and just just want to say -- brilliant use of models tinted together! Only the grass and such seems a bit too yellow for my taste. Either way, you should keep pictures like that coming :)

The chief things I liked were the atmosphere of the dungeon setting in #2, and the idea behind the unique rocks in #8. Overall I think the terraining is above average, but a few below par ones like #3 could use more work. I'd give a 3.5, rounded to 4 in this case :>

I can't really say that you're one of the best terraineers I've seen, but far from worst! All your pictures are above mediocre in my opinion, exept the last one ofc: It looks really awesome! Keep up the good work! ;)

Thanks guys and yeah the last one stands out because it was created for a cinematic, playable terraining is difficult because you have be sure that it wont obstruct the pathing, the game camera and that it wont hive items dropped on the ground.

It's ok but not ground breaking. There is some good ideas but execution isn't best.

Like in that picture where is lots of web. With glow doodads or trigger what changes color of the fog it could be easily imporved. I'd say if you add there dark green "fog" with big glow doodads, it would be look pretty good.

In the forest i'd add more model and scale varitation for trees and add them bit more randomly all over the place so there wouldn't be that much free space, it would look more natural.
