Exciting stuff  Two extremely different approaches and one of them taking a chance on vocals (which sounds nicely integrated).

AditTechno's is a good tempo piece, with beats to nod along, but as mentioned have a somewhat repeated beat after the halfway point.

Brambleclaw's is more of an epic. Painting a story with the music and varied listen throughout, with the exception of the final part that returns to its root. That might be a shame as I find myself missing a proper ending for the tale.

The two entries are each something I would listen to, but at very different situationens. Brambleclaw's is relaxing and if it was twice as long, with its epic storytelling more enchanced it could become something I would listen to whenever I am reading a book.
AditTechno lives up to his username, and with a little more change to the beat throughout the piece I would easily find myself using this for work music, when I need to focus and at the same time keep myself in the rythm.

Glad I am not judging this, as my final choice would really depend on my current mood. That said, if Brambleclaw's had a more epic finish I would likely throw my vote in his favor, as I find myself lacking music of that type, more than I miss good beats.

At any rate I am looking forward to the final results and darn good work

Results

AditTechno - Keep the Pressure

Creativity/Originality (6/7)
The piece feels refreshing and renewing, giving out a powerful
feeling and dynamism. This could fit into a futuristic game with
action. It has a nice grasp and listenability.

Production(7/10)
Production is good but it could use more work. I’d love to hear
some more reverb on the snares ‘n’ claps. Overall, some bigger
sounding effects would be better added with a stronger sub bass.
The starting synth could use more compression or lower volume
knob. It gets a bit overwhelming sometimes. Distortion feels a
bit too much.
The piano could use some more brightness. It is a bit blurry.

Composition/Arrangement(13/15)
Composition is solid. It starts off pretty powerful and shapes
what it’s got around this idea. A few different sections made it
a good listen. Guitar/Synth solo, after some piano rhythm sounds
good. It could use some ups and downs to have more dynamic
changes. It would have been more interesting to break the chord
progression and pack some more chords in. Piano part could be a
good part to try this out. It’s a good technique. John Williams
and Hans Zimmer and many more use this. Start off with the idea,
go further and complicate things up, get into chaos and then
resolve everything! Piano is a great instrument for this purpose
especially. Interstellar Theme music is a quick example I had in
mind.
Instrumentation is good all around. There aren’t whites in black
areas etc… There are quite a few instruments, bells,
synths(varying tones and shapes), piano which never bore the
listener and actually gives more to hear from the music.

Total: 26/32

Brambleclaw - Battle With Belief

Creativity/Originality(5/7)
You’re starting to get a style for yourself. I like these vocals
in the music. It has a strong feeling in it, too.

Production(8/10)
There are no particular problems here as well. The timpani got
stuck to me though. It doesn’t feel very suitable in the whole
sound. It might be the texture of it or the eq’ing. They sound
like Taikos, if they are I would suggest lowering mid and adding
more bass and a bit of treble in eq’ing. And some more room for
them for the reverb might have been better too. This “problem”
occurs more in the last section though. Beginning part seems
better regarding this issue.

Composition/Arrangement(12/15)
It starts off good, but the first build up could use more
tension. It resolves into something which we don’t feel very
much. It’s a great idea but you just have to make it more
obvious. The staccato brass could go more aggressive with more
sound. Maybe add another strings section which plays in a higher
register. GET DAH DRUMS ROLLING! Or add in heavy strikes! And
personally, I like to add an oscillator(set to sound like a wind
blow) which rises up as we get closer to the big bang but it’s
very subtle.
The comeback from the calm part is good. The attacks of the
strings are set nicely. It is going somewhere but suddenly we
get back to the first section. It’s just the transition is too
sudden. If it was meant to be sudden the change could be more
dramatic in my opinion. Maybe that sudden drum hit could be
harder and let it some time to lay its eggs, then get back to
the first part without waiting too much.
The piano solo fits very well with the speech too by the way.

Total: 25/32

Okay, so NightStalker will give a bit of commentary about the results, once I contacted him.

Anyways, thank you @Brambleclaw for accepting my challenge, I was happy we could share our skills! Yours has a distinctive style IMO.

First of all im sorry for the delay i wanted to give it a good time to write the reviews.

For the judjing, i decided to change the classic criteria a bit because of the theme differences, and i had the freedom to change the weight of the remaining criteria.

I dont like giving points to people's work to be honest, but here we had a challenge so i did what you guys asked me to. Both were great compositions, keep up the good work!

At the same time, it's not like you don't have anything to judge... :D

Hahaha, glad someone caught (maybe?) my reference there  But just as info, that judgement is done. I assume it will be posted when the poll ends?

Glad I am not judging this, as my final choice would really depend on my current mood. That said, if Brambleclaw's had a more epic finish I would likely throw my vote in his favor, as I find myself lacking music of that type, more than I miss good beats.
