I know how the various gameplay constants fit together to control how much XP a single hero gains from killing various types of units.

What I am trying to figure out is how having multiple heroes affects this.

For example, a lone hero killing a certain enemy on my map gains 6 XP.

However, 2 heroes do not each gain 3 as I would expect. Instead, each gain 4. A total of 8 XP for killing that same enemy.

5 heroes each gain 2. A total of 10 XP for killing that enemy.

I can't find any gameplay constant that would be controlling this and my tests haven't revealed a consistent formula yet.
