Seing Kitabatakes machine gun model made me want to make a little WW2 attatchment model too, so here's a quick MP40 i made for my WW2 map.

There will be a german soldier model for this coming up too.

Uses only ingame textures. Give credits when use.

Create a new ability in the ability editor, base it on "sphere". Then you change "art - target" to the path of this model, then change "art - attatchment point" to "hand, right". Give the ability to your marine.
There is a tutorial on this both in the tutorials section and in the modeling forum. Go check there.

I don't know if this will attatch properly on all units, but i know for sure it works perfectly on my helghast models.
I might consider transfering the anims from Kitabatakes model to this so that it can attatch to a wider range of units.

Well.. i think i will make my own version of the thompson. The one here in the database is too large in filesize for me.
Also, i will make some rocket launchers, such as the panzershreck and the bazooka.
Hopefully also the russian Degtyarev machinegun, since it is the coolest machinegun ever made. ;)

Wow! Really nice :). Anyways, don't you think you need to make a PPSh-41 or something? Also you might need a flamethrower and MAYBE some rifles, for example the K98, Mosin-Nagant and M1 Garand :D.

@Hugomath, i was originaly thinking of those rifles you mentioned, but making the extra anims for my soldiers would take too much space, and it wouldn't contribute to gameplay that much.

Anyway, i don't need to make a PPSh, i'm going to use this model instead.

Very nice model. I'd like to see a pack of WW2 models, or maybe Company of Heroes like map.

Will this attach to a Konstrukt ghost? And if so at which attach... Left, Right, or Weapon?

On-Topic: Achtung! Zee Germans are coming :D 5\5.

Edit: Wow epic models Fingolfin, I'm still waiting on those Ruskies. xD.

No, it won't. But if you want to use it with konstrukt characters, try using AnimTransfer and transfer animations from a unit that has alternate animation tags, which i know that most of kitabatakes models have. I'm thinking of doing that myself on this one.

otherwise, you can try editing it in magos model editor - just open the model edit window and select all vertices, then go transformations>rotation, and chose whatever rotation required.
