Hello everyone,

i have some building models which works fine. i editet few of them (added animation or just removed some details) and saved them. Looks fine but in Magos and world editor they are veeeery dark. And i dont know why. The original models are shaded (([ ] Unshaded)) in material manager and my editet models too.

the original models dont have omnilights which i could removed by accident.

Does anyone knows how to fix this?

As you see i also editet the gates and walls. They are also darker. It hase something to do with the shading but i dont know what it is.

Try modifying the model using a different set of third party tools. Some third party tools were written with incorrect MDX/MDL specifications or contain bugs which result in them producing corrupted model files out.

Generally tools like Matrix Eater are the safest way to edit Warcraft III models as they are very modern (the author still actively develops it) and were made well after good MDX/MDL specs were written. On the other hand tools like Warcraft III model editor (Mangos) are extremely buggy and well known to corrupt models.
