I got help from JAKEZINC regarding modelling custom auras and he pointed me here.
Is the tutorial this hard to understand? What tutorials should I use regarding those auras?
Just take a look at original wc3 auras. The aura is just a 2d plane with a texture and animations. But, using in game animations you can easily make an aura model without any plane, by making it as an effect.
First you need to get familiar with Warcraft 3 models and understand their components, so I suggest you start by trying out some simple model editors and free modeling tools (Retera's Model Studio, Matrix Eater, Mdlvis, War3 Model Editor); that should serve as an introduction to Warcraft 3 modeling.
I don't think there is a tutorial specifically about auras, but auras are not that much different from any other model. You can find some helpful tutorials here.
