Hi all.
I am currently on a mini-project called "The Goblin Valley".
The map is a fast-paced, skill based, AoS for 4 vs 4 players in a small arena.
The (current) minimap:
The game is played 4 versus 4.
There are minion waves on both sides to attack the enemy base.
When destroying a tower, the whole team gains a Goblin Token.
When you kill a player, you gain a Goblin Token.
When you die, you lose 67% of your Goblin Tokens.
You can go to the center of the map, where the goblin merchant is, and exchange (all) your Goblin Tokens for a Goblin Bomb with the same amount of stacks as tokens you had.
The bomb explodes automatically after a set amount of time.
The players have an ability that can be cast when they have a bomb and detonates the bomb they have.
Bombs cannot be passed to other players or stolen.
When the bomb explodes, it deals 10% of the wielders max health per stack to the wielder and deals a raw amount of damage per stack to a Magic Crystal if one is near.
The Magic Crystal is located just in front of the base of each team.
When that crystal is destroyed, that team loses the game.
The crystals cannot be damaged by basic attacks or spells.
The turrets in the base cannot be destroyed.
Destroyed turrets will respawn after 90 seconds.
There are 6 creep camps (might add 4 more) to make jungling possible too.
They will also grant additional bonusses.
In the base, you can buy items.
The items are bought from a custom full screen shop with features like, filters and recommended items for every hero.
The combat uses complete custom stats, so no Strength, Agility and Intelligence and even not Attack Damage or Armor.
The used stats are:
Max Health,
Health Regeneration,
Max Mana,
Mana Regeneration,
Physical Armor,
Magic Resistance,
Physical Damage,
Armor Penetration,
Attack Speed,
Spell Power,
Magic Penetration,
Critical Strike chance+damage,
Movement Speed.
When the crystals fall low on health, they spawn an ancient guardian to protect the crystal.
These are kind of mini bosses with abilities and stuff.
Dunno what to choose as model though (this one or this one)
As you might have noticed, the towers on the minimap are all red...
There are indeed a few things that I cannot do because I dont know how or what.
I need a few modellers (2 or 3) to create animations for certain models, change animation names, fix model problems, custom health bar layout, reducing the models quality to make them playable, etc.
I need a few 2d artists (1 or 2) to make missing icons, custom UI, the layout for the full screen shop and hero selection and to make team colors on textures. (including the turrets)
I need one terrainer who can make a finishing touch on the terrain and make it look cool. He might also have to make the terrain completely symmetrical.
I can use the help of a triggerer that has experience with full screen hero selection for an AoS/Hero Arena.
If provided with the following stuff, this project can be finished in one and a half week.
