Mini-Mapping Contest #8 ~ Dungeon

We should be going already. I think we have lost at least 50% of the competitors who in the beginning planned to join the competition.

This is just ridiculous.

Actually i don't mind the delay.

Since by this time i learned to 3d model so my potential entry might only get better.

Also been bussy with other stuff so the wait is quite nice.

The next main focus is the event at the moment. If the event begins, another contest may not start, while the Arena is frozen. So, I really need the results to be posted and approve of this.

Frozen doesn't mean that the contest won't be active. It will just get extended by half the days the event's rounds lasted (giving yourself and/or the event's contestants more space to work on your entries). You are still free to post in it. It's a good thing!

Idk i lost a lot of time i planned on using for this already so im sad.
Will have to cut down future content to fit into my time now :S

On a separate note, Mini-Mapping contest will most possibly be held in the Map Development forum from now on, because it makes much more sense -it will also give some boost to the maps under development-.

Paired Mapping Contests or Mapping Contests will be held in the Arena.

The Mini-Mapping Contests will be based 100% off a judge's review, thus, there will be no public polls.

The Mini-Mapping Contests do not offer an award to the winning entries, their duration is lower than an Arena's contest and their frequency will be higher.

These are some new rules made before the creation of this contest. My question to Pharaoh - do they apply to it too?

Yes, the announcement also says that the mini-mapping contests will be moved to the Map Development section (thus become sectional) and the old Mini-Mapping Awards will be renamed.
