I've tried to, setting alternate stands, but I suck at jassing so I don't know if it's possible. That was my original idea.

Well, one can create abilities that tied to some kind of mind break but not related to possession. For example, targeted silence + mana decay or AoE missing curse.
Anyway, that's great model both for naga and Old Gods' forces. It's a pleasure to know that these factions get some love too!

I think it can be done through special effects. You just need a special effect of the same unit that sits on the head. Further, when using the ability to tie it to the head or top of the head. Everything is very simple.

That's quite hard. The best approach is to take the wow model and add ORMs and Normals, but I'd need to know how to use blender and substance painter for the best look.

If you enlarge it and put it in water, it could be like the head of a huge kraken. All it needs are separate tentacles, similar to the Forgotten One.
