Hey,

I'm trying to get better at animating in milkshape so I made this list of questions to ask:

-How many frames equal 1 second
-Can milkshape import a model with anims
-How do you edit anims without using Ctrl+Z after you've completed all of your anims and set the key-frames (EX: I've done 5 anims and the one I want to edit is #3, how would I edit that without overlapping anims or messing up the anims after that one)
-Why should you leave a space of 10 frames between anims (EX: Anim1---10Frames---Anim2)
-Is animating a unit model (Human that attacks with sword) possible in milkshape

Default is 24 fps. You can edit it under preferences but I don't think you should because it might lose compatibility with your exporter... so 24 frames per second.

-Can milkshape import a model with anims
No. Only the meshes.

-How do you edit anims without using Ctrl+Z after you've completed all of your anims and set the key-frames (EX: I've done 5 anims and the one I want to edit is #3, how would I edit that without overlapping anims or messing up the anims after that one)
I don't understand this question. Please clarify THIS NONSENSE :p

-Why should you leave a space of 10 frames between anims (EX: Anim1---10Frames---Anim2)
Because your anims will bug if you don't. I don't know why but it's got something to do with wc3's engine, I guess. It doesn't have to be 10 frames, can be 20 or 1000. I think the minimum is 8 frames but I'm not sure.

-Is animating a unit model (Human that attacks with sword) possible in milkshape
Absolutely.

Because sequences are completely arbitrary. Your model has one time-line, and all keyframes occur accross it. If you overlap sequences, well, the keyframes will all mash together for a start.

WC3 will also hate your model if sequences are marked as overlapping. Theoretically, you need only one frame's difference (1000 vs. 1001, for example), but it keeps the model much better organised if you leave a gap of ten or so. Larger gaps are also nice if you ever need to go back and extend the sequence a bit.
