Metalstorm?????
sounds like a rain of metal
It still shocks me to see such large arrows bounce off a breastplate like that... !
Yeah, imagine the shock real archers had in actual confrontations. It still shocks me to see such large arrows bounce off a breastplate like that... !
LOL. shit your pants level of the shock... I would like to see similar tests for other parts of the archer; helmet, pauldron, etc. I imagine if the armor is good enough it will hold and knock you back like a hard punch from Mike Tyson.Yeah, imagine the shock real archers had in actual confrontations.
If they were lucky enough, they got one to the eyes or mouth otherwise they probably went for the limbs and joints.LOL. shit your pants level of the shock... Luck indeed ! Moving target most of the time too...If they were lucky enough, they got one to the eyes or mouth otherwise they probably went for the limbs and joints.
Especially trying to hit them on horse.Luck indeed ! Moving target most of the time too...
Hmmm now that I think about it I'm gonna give cavalry a good miss rate vs ranged.Especially trying to hit them on horse.
I guess they used flaming arrows at one point.
Wonder if crossbows would've worked better at close range.Agincourt probably wasn't so lop sided of a victory... the longbow is so overhyped.
Yup, especially in castle sieges. Drop some lamp oil/barrels and light em up.
Depends on the definition of better... More accurate - for 90% of soldiers yes. More powerful... maybe... idk enough about the crossbow bolt to say. A lot less shots per minute though.Wonder if crossbows would've worked better at close range.
