LOL. shit your pants level of the shock... I would like to see similar tests for other parts of the archer; helmet, pauldron, etc. I imagine if the armor is good enough it will hold and knock you back like a hard punch from Mike Tyson.

If they were lucky enough, they got one to the eyes or mouth otherwise they probably went for the limbs and joints.

Hmmm now that I think about it I'm gonna give cavalry a good miss rate vs ranged.
Agincourt probably wasn't so lop sided of a victory... the longbow is so overhyped.
Yup, especially in castle sieges. Drop some lamp oil/barrels and light em up.

Depends on the definition of better... More accurate - for 90% of soldiers yes. More powerful... maybe... idk enough about the crossbow bolt to say. A lot less shots per minute though.
