Map Info:

This map is set in dark and corrupted land of the East. Darkness itself has created a Plague to purge the world from all life. In this mythic land of magic and ancient power you must choose your side and archieve victory or die.

Features:

Gameplay includes epic quests, stunning cinematics, unique models, skins and other effects to provide maximum custom game experience. During the first day of release it was hosted more than 78 times. Currently it is very popular and often played on Battle-net. Wolfblood was hosted over 9000 times in total on makemehost.

Author's notes:

Alright, i think the map is not as good as i mentioned above, but its also pretty old. This version was made a year ago, i just wanted to share it, refresh old times when i used to work on it for hours and make available to others. I want also to mention Rex5 and Netjamjr since they made a lot of work on developing original MZA. I consider them as good friends and they deserve a big part in credits. Sorry for my english. Good potential

Hey Argos,

Firstly I'd just like the say this map has great potential, the scenario is a great one to have and the gameplay can be fun. Unfortunately I would say that 70% of games hosted fail due to players who do not understand how to win as zombies, they either get agitated and leave or more experienced human players are able to stop them from expanding.

The solution to this is to make zombies more appealing to new players, perhaps include an ingame onscreen text guide? The main cause of frustration and leavers is, I would argue, unit lag. The fact that zombies are slow to start off with is fine, the fact that they can lag a few seconds after being ordered around is a major problem.

As ever there are multiple solutions but the simple one I see would be to make individual zombies stronger and reduce the overall number of them. Zombies should also have a delete ability on individual units.

Another issue is the role of orange, most hosts either leave the slot closed or fill it with someone who cannot be trusted to 'add' to the game. Something should be done to address this issue and integrate them into the game.

These are all my personal opinions but if someone could do this I believe the game would be much better. Unfortunately I am not that person and I don't believe you are actively modifying this map are you Argos? So I will leave this message in the hope someone, someday will see it and attempt to correct the problems I have just outlined. All that said thanks for a good overall map :)

this map lacks many things and i agree that zombies need some serious upgrades for newbie players. Orange was made to be an optional race and it has no really potential ingame, i just thought that it was cool to play as dwarves. When they first appeared in MZA, humans always killed them too easily and that's the only reason why i made them stronger. I still dont fully understand why hosts are restricting dwarves since hero-killing and OPness is the whole point of this game + they actually help zombies to make the game easier. So dwarves should be probably occupied by someone with normal/higher inteligence and somehow help one or another side to balance. Im planning to release a FINAL version of Medieval Zombie Apocalypse on its anniversary. Im currently working on my bigger project called War of the Clans, click here if youre interested.

So true, sadly bnet is lacking those sorts of people these days.

Im planning to release a FINAL version of Medieval Zombie Apocalypse on its anniversary. Im currently working on my bigger project called War of the Clans, click here if youre interested.

A final version sounds great, thank you and I've played clans once or twice, best of luck with it :)

Okey so why on earth is there that unlimited gold thing for zombie at grey place? :vw_wtf:
Second zombie are really weak I agree with what the other person said it just the unit lag plus the fact it almost impossible to get gold at a certain stage of the game. I feel like dwarf should be playable it kind of sad to see them always closed. Over all the game is good and feel fine and the secret are good.

Unlimited gold encourages zombies to kill gray if they are able to. Notice that gray's base is only optional target, becuse people were whining that it's imposible to kill.

As i said before there will be hopefully FINAL version where number of zombies will be limited thus no unit lag and of course they will be alot stronger than their current counterparts.

Dwarves are fully playable, it is only host's decision to close the orange spot. Herokilling is a part of the game and dwarf hero doesnt revive either.
