Maya (model + animation) to .MDX / .MDL ?

Hi, i'm fairly new to warcraft 3 modeling and was hoping to find some help around here. My question is about Maya. I've been looking around this forum (and i've been googling a lot) but i can't seem to be able to get my hand on a simple thread talking about direct convertion from maya (model + animation) to warcraft 3 (including any program needed to convert).

So, is there anyone out here who would be able to enlight me about a simple (or not) way to convert my already finished and animated models.

For the moment, i am aware the .Obj and .Fbx format (wich support animation) and i do have Ms3d (trial version). All in all, is there a way i would be able to conserve the work i already did!
