Max casting range doe spells

What limits the max casting range for a hero? I gave spells that have a casting range of 1000+ but it seems like the hero can only cast it if hes at a range of around 500.

I tryed changing the Acquisition range of the hero but it had no effect.(i know it has a effect on max range of attack)

Maybe it's hardcoded for that ability. What ability is that? I tried adjusting Blizzard's casting range, and had no problems.

Try changing the constants, because it IS possible to make a skill with 10000000 range..

One of the abilties is blink, its rang is unchaged(1000) and the 2nd one is blizzard with a range of 1200. When you try to cast the spell it acts like the max range for both spells is around 500.

The hero is tinker, if that helps.

I don't really see your problem, just adjust the max range from the ability of say blizzard, that it is castable from say 1500 range.

Maybe you changed the distance and not the casting range. For example blink has 99999 casting range but 1000 maximum range. The cast range is where u can cast it but the maximum range is the max distnace u can blink
