So pretty much everything in this thread (http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/world-editor-help-zone-98/how-does-market-place-work-39015/) is totally wrong and I haven't found a more accurate thread on the subject.
For those who don't know, marketplaces are one of the rarer neutral buildings in Warcraft 3. In contrast to goblin merchants which are very common and which always sell the same items starting at the same times, marketplaces sell different items every game. In fact every marketplace on a map with more than one will sell different items.

So basically I want to know what determines which items a marketplace sells and how one can control that to use marketplaces in a custom map.
