these are terrains from a map thats about half a year in the making, project of me + a mate, we both are rather lazy and therefore not gets done on this, though we did have a good flurry a while ago and hopefully will do again. the ship was done today entirely (a bit yesterday maybe).

it's all plae-abile and stuff, though you can't walk on the ship that's the only thing. there will be another half ship that you can go into though

so yeahhhh just to show people what i've been up to and stuff, comments and all appreciate :- )


also - does anyone know how to get models to be affected by the game shaders? the tree leaves aren't; when setdaynightmodels is used they still stick out like normal which is a tad annoying because i like them and i'd like to use the function sometimes in the game.

I dunno how to judge these as there's no atmosphere at all yet and it looks a bit empty. It's a good start. Make sure to set a good fog and all that crap.

I'd add WAY more natural doodads, little rocky outcrops, small trees, bushes, etc.

Also maybe tint things so they're darker, it's very bright now.
 
well apart from all the screens being inside a town apart from the ship, you are right they do need more environmental doodads. i didn't take any pictures of the outdoors environs because they are so shit, all the focus has gone into the buildings and stuff so far.
not sure i see what you mean about the brightness though, haven't noticed/heard anything about that previously
also the trees will probably all be replaced so you can ignore those entirely :C
