Makeing a Timer

How do i make a timer.
I am trying to make a timer for my zombie map but i cant find out how please help

a countdown timer it starts as soon as people leave a certain room

    • Unit - A unit leaves MyRoom <gen>

    • Countdown Timer - Start MyTimer as a One-shot timer that will expire in 30.00 seconds
    • Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for MyTimer with title My Countdown Timer
    • Set MyTimerWindow = (Last created timer window)
    • -------- Turn off the trigger so that it won't get fired repeatedly unless you want that. I suppose you could also destroy the trigger too with custom script. --------
    • Trigger - Turn off (This trigger)

    • Time - MyTimer expires

Create a region in the room and check via the A unit is leaving a region event whether they are leaving the room and then start the timer.

o and how do i get a pic of a trigger on hive workshop
and how do i get the thing you called (MyTimer)

Use [TRIGGER]*text goes here[/TRIGGER] tags. There's an icon for it also.

Right click the trigger's name on the right pane in trigger editor, and select "copy as text". Then paste it.

To create the variable, open trigger editor (F4) and then variable editor (Ctrl + B). Then create new variable of type timer and give it some name.

Just select the trigger and strg+c use the

• tags and copy it into these tags.
• MyTimer is a Timer variable. Just create one in the variable editor.

Try adding

• Countdown Timer - Show (Last created timer window)

after the

• Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for MyTimer with title My Countdown Timer

Edit: I think you can't display timer windows at map initialization. Try using a different event or the Time - Elapsed event.

ok well after both go down it just starts over again and the expired ones are staying on the screen

Destroy the timer window.

Eggs Hatch trigger will loop over and over again. You can start another timer and use different trigger.
