Make heroes able to do reserach?

Is there a way to get heroes to be able to do research?

I know I could make them train units or whatever, but I'd like to avoid that.

Or maybe I could have it select a different unit that IS a building and CAN do research.

Wasn't thinking about making it a menu switch, that will work.

I'll just add a back button and it'll be seamless.
