Loading Screen (Not the usual)

Hi, I was wondering how to change the image of the loading screen, I don't mean the usual loading screen, I mean the one that has green loading bars for all players.

There're very few maps with this screen customized, at least that I know...
Example: Warlock (in the new 090), or HLW RoC...

I couldn't find any tutorial that addresses exactly this :/

Easy, open Advanced - Game Interface - Model - Loading Melee Background.
The first time you test it it will not work but the second time it will since the other screen has to load. +Rep me if this works please!

Well... It worked, but something strange happens, I'll explain it.

I did "open Advanced - Game Interface - Model - Loading Melee Background" and changed it. Click on agree and save the map. Well up here...

When I tested it via WE test, the loading screen didn't changed, but I've read "The first time you test it it will not work but the second time it will since the other screen has to load", so I went to WE and close the map and open it again, and tested it, but it still not working, at this point I had another idea.

I closed the WE and opened the WC3 and when I went to the folder, two maps with the same name appeared, I tried one and it didn't worked, but when I tried the second it WORKED, well... I was very happy at this point but...

When I went to the maps folder with the windows explorer, only one map was there... but in WC3 two maps appear... so I though WTF!?

EDIT: This reply is for other reply by nuuh, where he said that my problem isn't his problem but that he solevd my first problem so give him rep. I don't know what he did, erased the post?

Do you really think I'm going to give reputation to someone that all he has done is say "do this", and after a complication arise tells me "I do not know but give me reputation"?

Things you may improve:
1st - Don't include in your post "+Rep me if it works"
2nd - Never ask for reputation, if you did something good for someone and he's grateful he will +rep you...

I +rep all the people who helped in my post when the full problem is finished, and it's not.

If anybody knows why my problem happens, please tell me.

Fistly, dont double post, i'd suggest merging those bottom two posts.

(Bumping threads has to be 48 hours apart)

Secondly, maybe give us a screenshot of the two maps that appear? I doubt that one map could display as two maps, maybe you could just move the map to desktop, open the lan screen and see if its two maps again? if there's still a map there, i'd reinstall wc3, or just ignore it.

Is there any chance that you saved the map a second time under a different name?

In that case you would only think that you saved one map when really you saved two (which would make sense because you said one of them didn't have the bars, which would be the one you accidentally saved before).

The best way to test for this is to take the map and place it in its own folder with absolutely no other maps.

Hey, hey, hey, I didn't double posted, I always use the edit function, but between my post #3 and #4 were there a post by nuuh saying that he want +rep because he solved my problem so I replied him with my post #4, but now he erased the post or something... ¿?

2. My post was removed by an administrator/moderator is my guess, I did not remove it

3. I know what the map problem is now, though will not tell you because "my problem is not your problem"

Well..., the problem is the same. I've got only one map file alone in a folder to be sure that's alone. But in Wacraft there're two maps with the same name, but only one has the new loading screen.

Try renaming one (of them) both in Scenario and file name.

When I rename the file name nothing happens; but when I rename it in Scenario it still displays two maps with one file, but one one them (the one which has the new loading screen) has the new name, the other continues with the old one.

It looks like if the map file has a "ghost" copy of the map before I changed the image.

Last Resort

1) Copy and paste map into a new new folder.
2) Annihilate the old map (preferably with a shredder program).

That's all I got, man.

After I deleted the old file and pasted the new one in the folder, when I went to wc3 only one map appeared!! But, it's the one without loading screen -.-

When I opened it with WE it was exactly like before the load. scre. change.

. . . . . W.T.F. ! . . . . .

I deleted that map and opened a new one, imported the image, and changed the constants.

and F*** YES! it works without any problem, the I tried it with the real map and it worked too.

All is fixed now, but WTF happened before? Really strange to my opinion...

i think what happend, was when you used the test map settings, it made it require the expansion, so it created a .w3x copy of your map.
