Lithuanian is one of the world's oldest surviving languages, and is distantly related to Sanskrit, a religious and literary language in India.
Lithuanian:
Yes - Taip
No - Ne
Hello - Labas
Goodbye - Viso gero
See you - Iki
Thanks - Aciu
Please - Prasau
I don't understand - As nesuprantu
My name is - Mano vardas
There are a few odd words that I can say but have no idea how to spell them. Since I am Canadian born, I only know a few words here and there, and I can't speak the language fluently, or write it at all
Regardless, the only other Lithuanian I know here is a guy called Dumblor, and he speaks fine English.
