Cool! If you're making a map and need an equivalent model for SD mode, maybe you can use this one? Sky Hydra

Although it's funny to think that 14 years ago it took me 3 days working all day in the summer to make that model, back then... I suppose we've come a long way. Someone could probably do a much better job with modern tools.

In the death animation, it is visible that the wings fall off. Is that intentional?

I didn't intend the death to be that way but it looked quite cool so I decided to keep it.

Very nice model. I have 2 suggestions for improvement: 1) Ghidorah looks fat here, perhaps reduce his body a bit? 2) The wings clip through his side, model would be much better if this is fixed somehow.
