It seems that "consolidated frozen throne and reign of chaos" update seems to have messed JNGP up something fierce, my map using it no longer works and I can no longer open the editor itself.

JNGP Broke in Newest Version

JNPG starts to be broken since the patch of 1.28. Fortunately, there exists a new replacement for JNGP, which is SharpCraft

Well true, but it's missing some features, like the colorizer/umswe tile pathability/edit tilesets and probably more.
You can keep using JNGP by downloading your registered wc3 version from the bnet (should be version 1.27) until WEX gets the tools implemented.
