The Hive Workshop > Warcraft III Resources > JASS Functions
and
The Hive Workshop > Warcraft III Resources > Submissions
are not jokes, rather they are infant forums in the early development stages. Submissions - Rules & Guidelines provides a bit of additional detail on how The Chieftain envisions the evolution of these new forums.
I believe that over time, it is intended that a major transition will take place: all resources may someday be submitted to the forums themselves instead of to an entirely separate resource section as we maintain now.
The potential advantages and disadvantages of such a system have yet to be fully explored. Whether or not it will prove desirable and viable will depend on value-added results based on future experience and user feedback.
All users are encouraged to provide their input and ideas to help further the development of these forums.
Thoes sections for now are for JASS functions and JASS systems and are not a joke.
They are to make life easier for beginner jassers who need easy to use functions that do complex opperations.
Not one of you have a clue what you're talking about.
I recommend all JASSers don't bother submitting anything, as it appears that the THW staff are not willing to even occasionally take a peak in this section.
Or is it just the deluge of submissions which you are unable to cope with?
Stuff like this is why no one takes the Hive seriously.
It's better if it becomes a mix than another wc3s. And to lower to that point, we'd need the usual 10 minutes to load pages. I never had that loading time, but a lot of people complained.
