I have alchemy in my map but I don't know what I can do better about ingredients(herbs) for potions. For now I just drop them on the map but there is way too many of them. Thanks to the witcher system I can transport them by stacking them but I can't do anything about dropped items. Does someone know a way how to deal with a high number of dropped items?

You could create a stash I suppose. Make a unit that is a box (or whatever you want) and give it an inventory. You can only have 6 slots per unit I'm afraid, but that is what I use. I made an area that is your hero's "house" and put inventory boxes all over the place to store excess inventory such as ingredients and things. If this is not what you are looking for then I am not really sure what you are asking. Hope this at least helps.
