[Spell] Item Ability.

How can I make it so that when I click my item, it lets me use a special ability, I made a custom version of the Troll Headhunter's Berserk ability and want it so that when I click on a custom item I made it would cast it, I tried adding my custom-made ability to the item but it won't work.

The Troll Headhunter's Berserk ability is not a regular active ability as it is not cast. Actually, it replaces the troll by another unit (the Troll Berserker).
What is the effect of your custom-made ability? I Think using triggers will solve your problem.

Berserk is also the name of an ability they possess, boosting attack/move speed and damage taken.

If you want to use that on an item, make it the first ability of the item and assure the item is usable (the field may be called Values - Usable or similar).

Set "Stats - Actively Used" to True on the item via object editor.

Correct me if I'm wrong;
1. You want it so that if you click an item, it will grant you extra ability (it will appear on the UI of the unit for a period of time)
2. When the duration ends or the item has finished its cooldown (configurable), the extra ability is removed.

Is that it ?
