I have some dummy objects to act as bullets in my map. Somethings not working right, so the bullets don't move, but that's not what this question's about. I noticed that although they have the locust ability (given to them in the object editor), I can still select them.

Hmmmm, okay, aside from what Cookies4You said - with the possibility of you using the hero Locust ability and not the unit one - there isn't much else. It can't be the model file because locust is a universal ability. I messed around with the collision size of a footman along with giving the footman the locust ability - it all went fine. I even changed the model to a missile and tested it out, and I couldn't select it.

What model did you use? Are there other abilities that the unit has? Does the model have an extra version (in The Frozen Throne)?

Stats - Unit classification -> Walkable might solve the issue of units not being ontop of eachother.

Or it might be that the unit is created, it clashesh with the other unit, and gets moved a bit so it won't, and only then locust is added.

Post the trigger, so people can check whether you have applied locust correctly or not.

Ok the collison size thing was just a silly error, but the locust ability stands.

It can't be that the locust ability is the hero ability because it won't let me select that one anyways. At any rate, I've double and triple checked it.

It's a custom unit based off of the rabbit unit. I've changed the model file to a custom model which is just an arrow projectile without the arrow (so the ribbon emitter is all that's left).

If you want a dummy unit to work right with locust (also without), base it off of the peasant. Maybe its because you based it off of the rabbit. Because its a neutral passive, it have some special coding inside it that you arent able to change. Passive units are moving around with a special moving system and thats maybe why locust doesnt work on it. Always base dummies off of peasant.

The Wandering of Neutral Passive units is just an ability called "Wander - Neutral" and has absolutely no bearing on the unit's properties.

You can base your dummies on any unit as well, it really should not have an effect (unless it's like a building or hero or something).
