So, I am working on this Project... And I was hoping to add Items that work as weapons, helmates and actual chest pieces.

I found some chest pieces on the site and attempted to aply the under the Attachment to "chest" and it turns out that it sets the Waist of the armor on the chest of the Unit.

I tried it with a custom unit, the Night elf runner and Archemonde, all have the same issue of the Chest piece looking more like a Helmate.

Is there a way around this?, Or is it simply impossible to aply chest armor on to a unit like you would say Helmates on the head and weapons in the hand?

Attachment Point Names: overhead (floats over the unit's head, but doesn't sway with the head as it animates)
# head (sways with the unit's animation) chest
# origin (usually at the base of a unit's feet)
# hand
# foot
# weapon (for heroes)
# sprite (for buildings)
# medium (for buildings)
# large (for buildings)

Attachment Point Modifiers:
# left
# right
# mount (for mounted units)
# rear (for quadrupeds)
# first (for buildings)
# second (for buildings)
# third (for buildings)
# fourth (for buildings)
# fifth (for buildings)
# sixth (for buildings)
# rallypoint (for buildings) (We don't know who wrote this, if you wrote it let me know so I can include your handle in the credits)

I've tryed some I found like "chest" or "torso", but they didn't work, so I asume this are the only ones.

Well, it could be that the attachment points of the custom models just aren't set correctly, so it doesn't appear where you want it to appear.

Are there any screenshots of a unit wearing the armor in the page where you got the models from?
If yes, then I'll look into it a bit further, because then the attachment point should be correct ^^

I was thinking the same thing, I do not believere there was any screenshots of models actually wearing it, Just the Attatchment itself on a black back drop.

I Tried some of the Original Warcraft 3 models as I stated on my first post (Archamonde, and the Night elf messenger (or was it runner?) and is giving me the same issue.

I went threw the list of Attatchments listed and still it does not seem to go where I want it  .

some armors are made for a specific model and sometimes they don't work fine with other models or maybe the creator haven't tried to place it in a unit so its not adjusted.......
so I thinks its the problem of the armor model itself... and if it is then I don't think you can fix it without editing the armor....
