Is it possible to make a new team color?

I've really been wondering if it is possible to add team colors to custom maps, because I'd really like a white team color and/or a black team color. I think those would be pretty cool. However I don't posses the knowledge to know if it is possible or not, or even how I would do it if it is possible. Thanks for any help you can give me.
