how to increase level ability in spell book whenever i select a unit?

Isn't there Unit - Increase level of ability for unit in GUI?

there is increase level of the ability for unit as maker said for you to use
but i don't know if it would works to abilities in spell book

You can just use normal GUI actions to set the level of an ability in a spell book.

Use Event - Player Selects unit, Conditions - Unit Type of Selected Unit equal to footman then Actions - Increase the level of the specific ability of the unit.
