This metamorphosis looks better, yes, but I'm not really sure if based on the site's rules I'll be allowed to merge these two. And my lack of modeling experience wouldn't let me do something similar to that myselfSo much better than in-game one. Although, I wish she had metamorphosis form like this: Fixed Reforged SD Female Demon Hunter
You can ask Retera for permission (& knowing him, he'd be glad to; might even do it himself), and then you guys should be able to combine your resources together (or post a 3rd combined one, with you both as authors). This metamorphosis looks better, yes, but I'm not really sure if based on the site's rules I'll be allowed to merge these two. Thank you, It's just that I'm a newcomer so I don't know how things work around hereNice edit, and glad to see someone making the original more useful.

Are you talking about "shields" on the blades? Because if yes, then i can put the male Demon Hunter one's with pandasTy dude, could you change the blades? Bc they look like they don't have a texture
Sorry man, I'm not really aknowledged on how this male/female system works. However inside the game's CASC archives female Demon Hunter uses a different model. Maybe you should try changins paths to "units\nightelf\HeroFemaleDemonHunter\HeroFemaleDemonHunter.mdx" and "units\nightelf\HeroFemaleDemonHunter\HeroFemaleDemonHunter_Portrait.mdx" respectively. Is there a way to use this model as the female DH version? If i change the Model File to this one, it's no longer possible to choose between male and female.
I happened to see this thread and I agree, happy to let you guys edit my editsYou can ask Retera for permission (& knowing him, he'd be glad to; might even do it himself)
No, look at them carefully, they have empty texture lines. You should fix itAre you talking about "shields" on the blades? Because if yes, then i can put the male Demon Hunter one's with pandas

It worked! This model is a big upgrade to the Blizzard one. Thank you! Also for updating the glaives.Sorry man, I'm not really aknowledged on how this male/female system works. From a technical point of view, male and female DHs indeed both use different textures. But the texture path of this model is different from it's vanilla counterpart. Basically, it doesn't replace the OG texture, just imports a new one, thus making it possible for both models to co-exist in the same map if needed.Simply setting the path to "Textures\demonfemalehunter.blp" will replace the female texture but not the male texture?
I've just looked it up. Damn, what a gameDid you tried to integrate from Lula 3D's Bouncing Boobs technology for this model?(Yes, this actually exist, the PC game name is Lula 3D)
After Tyrande's Secret has a very questionable picture in the map section, I'm amazed that some people does not wanted to test the borders of "what is not naughty and naughty", but gladly for now - and for my knoweldge - Tyrande's Secret is the only one and unique in this point. Meaning: it's a good thing that you are not "overimagined" the mentioned part of the body there, but Blizzard did questionable choices too. Do not forgot, when the first Tom Raider Video games hit the market, the mentioned body part is triangular or squar(ish) at the time.I've just looked it up. Damn, what a game... But in regards to this model, no, I didn't even know such a thing existed. I just made them rounder(?) without making them that much bigger. But don't get me wrong, it's not because of the "ooga booga I like round polygons". I just never understood why all the SD Blizzard models had triangles instead. They could clearly make them more "realistic" with the same amount of polygons. Some would assume that it was for the sake of not oversexualizing women, but a lot of textures and interesting animations clearly say otherwise.
Female Demon Hunter has it's own path. units\nightelf\herofemaledemonhunterIs there a way to use this model as the female DH version? If i change the Model File to this one, it's no longer possible to choose between male and female.
I've been thinking on reworking this model for some time actually since I learned a lot of things in modeling. However I got 0 free time right now. The rework day will come... eventually. I'll think on making a Blood Elf version of her if by any chance I'll have some additional time to spareIs there any chance you could make a blood elf version of this?
I think the model is great! Would it be ok if I made a skin for a blood-elf version?I've been thinking on reworking this model for some time actually since I learned a lot of things in modeling. Sounds good! It'd mostly just be a recolor since all id be changing are the skin/hair to look more blood elf themed. (Should be done in a week or so)Of course! It's basically 90% Blizzard's work so I think you shouldn't ask if it's ok to make a skin lol. Take note that this model uses a custom texture because 1. there are some fixes to the OG textures and 2. I'm using an older Warcraft 3 version and I wanted it to make it compatible with pre-Reforged versions. When this model gets an update - I'll try to work around the Blood Elf texture that you're making (if you decide to release your skin to the public that is). If you want to make a private skin - contact me after an update and we will talk about a potential fix. Sounds good?
Sorry, I deleted the previous message since there was a slight misunderstanding... Didn't expect you to reply so fast, damn. But I got what you meant. So collaboration it is then! If you'd like to do some tweaks for the BE version (perhaprs something may look out of place or to nightelf-y, or maybe we could change her hairstyle or the demon form idk) in the model department - we could do it like this: you make the texture, I make the tweaks to the model when the texture is done and I post it here as a second file (like an alt-version of a model) with proper credits to you as a texture creatorSounds good! Looks good man! Love the bandages and the skull emblem for the blades. I have a few propositions: 1. Imo her tatoos look a bit too... night-elf-y. Perhaps they could be changed? Maybe they should look akin to phoenix wings to give this blood elf feel to them? 2. I liked some of the ideas from your icon so you could change the texture to look more like it. First of all is the hair color, love how black looks with those green-ish strands. Second are the runes on her hair windings, they look sick and I think should be implemented. 3. Dark green color is not commonly associated with blood elves. Having more red colors could help I think. Some gold accessories also can go a long way in making this skin feel like a proper blood elf version, my first thought was making these yellow outlines on her skirt more of a gold color, maybe also adding sharper edges? I'll also think about adding blood elf armor (maybe shoulderpads or something, we'll see) when everything else is done. Feel free to share you thoughts on these suggestions and add your own (both to the model and the texture). If you are going to have multiple drafts - send all of them and we can choose the one we both like. Cheers!1st draft of a blood elf version. Lmk what you think!
Made an icon for it too Female Demon Hunter

Looks nice! Here are my thoughts:
- I'm not going to bother changing the tattoos; that's a lot of effort. If you look at pictures of demon hunters, the patterns are relatively the same across different races.
- Added some more pink tones to give it a more blood elf look.
- Added a red robe variation (I'm still a fan of the green).
- Desaturated the skull a bit.

I'll probably play around with the hair color next.
UPDATED 1: Changed the hair, no idea how it looks in game, will have to test it later

UPDATE 2: Just previewed the model, looks pretty good to me. (Though I think I like the old skull color better)

Understandable, I think we can make it work without changing them anyways.I'm not going to bother changing the tattoos; that's a lot of effort
I like the red robe actually, looks more like a blood elf already. I guess I'll rework the model, add some details to the blood elf version and we'll see which one suits her best.Added a red robe variation (I'm still a fan of the green)
Now we're cooking with gas! I think it fits her well.Changed the hair
Yeah, the old one looks nicer, gold colors are closer to blood elves after all.Though I think I like the old skull color better
Tbh I think the model is fine not else needs to be done other than maybe the chin could come in a tiny bit. Also, made some hair-color variationsLooks nice! Here are my thoughts:

So... I don't really have any suggestions now. You can experiment if you have any other ideas for the texture and we'll discuss it. When I'm going to start working on the model itself? Not sure really. I'm studying at the university and I have a lot of homework to think about so my free time is almost non-existent. I'll start working on it as soon as I can though

I took a look at some blood elf warriors for inspirations and thought of adding some red non-tc armor parts (e.g. changing the blade texture to Illidan one's, adding some Kael/Spellbreaker armor pieces). I guess we'll see how it turns out once I start working on the model, I'll send you some variations, maybe you'll like some of themTbh I think the model is fine not else needs to be done
