Images in Chat

Hi, I am tired of the usual

. I was hoping image tags in chat could be enabled, and resized into a max of ~40x40 pixels. Then they would be clickable to view the image in a new tab, full size.

Heh, doubt that'll ever happen.
Inappropriate images would most likely be posted. A lot.

But then enforce law. The only difference between this and the current linking of images is that, this is more direct however with a small preview.

Well, no images in the chat means avoiding enforcing the law, which is always beneficial for the staff. I wonder if it would be okay to link to an image with 6k X 6k pixels, too. Depends on the content of linked images, I reckon. On that regard, GhostWolf's bold, sincere opinion will no doubt be invaluable ;D

I don't see how it would be any different then moderating the chat as usual.
Only a little more complicated and tempting for the users.

O! I was not telling about emoticons. I was telling about other pics, gifs, vids. With those i dont think we would need much emoticons although ya, few would be ok i guess
