icewolf055 creted an Icewolf:xxd:
Idea animation e.t.c. look good but the ''skin'' of the wolf looks a bit of ''blue'' instead of ''ice''. Just try making it look more ice-like.

Edited!
With the new texture it takes the allmighty
5/5:goblin_good_job:

The animations are great, I really like your use of particles on the ground for the spell channel and spell slam animations. This is a great model the only suggestions I have are, I agree that you should make the ice look more ice-like and adding hero glow, as well as some more team color might be a good idea.

Nice, this is cool. Got to test this one.

Thanks :xxd:

Thanks :), I dont think he needs more glow but i will try hero glow as well

You have a good future. It's sorta decent work, and i like that you are not making simple edits.
As for possible improvements, how about making his glow ''model space'd'', so it won't become a trail when he is moving. I also suggest you, to work alittle more with his wrap.

Thanks

Yeah maybe i should make 2 particles one is model space and another one is not (also has less timelife so the trail wont be so long)

Maybe i will rework his wrap when decide to change the texture then :xxd:

Actually, I've always wanted to see someone make a model that acts like the Protoss High Templar from Starcraft... He went really slow, but everywhere he went he trailed blue-shadowy-images behind him. I dunno if that's more modelling or coding, but it's awexome.

On-topic, I think it looks decent (just looking at the pic; perhaps a collage of viewpoints for a better look at him?), although a little more "blue" than "icy"; perhaps some... translucence?

You can change the file name in model editor in the section model properties.
By the way nice wolf although the eyes quite weird and it walking like ninja.

This is really cool, but you need to work on the body of the wolf more. Make it look more furry. I assume the look you were going for was a sort of werewolf with ice sticking out of his back, right?

At the moment, he simply looks too cartoonish.

Yeah, will try again :xxd:

Nice shiny effects emanating from his body.

Loving the idea!
And execution isn't bad at all too! ^^

Thanks

This looks awesome :p

I specially like the glow around him, and the animations are cool.

Perhaps you could make a ice spike for when he does is spell throw effect.

You mean an icespike on his hand?

looks pretty well-made, though i think the wolf should have a wolf texture and just some ice above it. You know, just a wolf-texture as basic skin and the ice-tecture above it with a modulate or added alpha property.

Thanks, I will try it out :xxd:

Ah yes, the ice-spikes are much better now (remind me of Metroid Prime or something). Now, however, the body is still looking more like "snow" than "ice". Unless this was the intended effect, perhaps going for an icy-fur pattern, for contrast? (or, if he's more like an elemental, more icy-texture than fur).

Much better now. The wrap still needs more work, though, to look more realistic.

Still, I love it, and for now I'll rate it a 4/5, it's good for one of your first models. You'll need to do more to get a 4/5 out of me in the future, though, and I expect to see you continue to work on this until it can fully deserve this 4/5 that it's getting.

Hmm, perhaps I more blueish tint to his skin?
And I just remembered something you might like to try (if you wanted of course)
http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/3d-modeling-tutorials-282/crystal-effect-7456/

It adds a crystal effect which could possibly be used here for ice effect ?

Well, already seen that tutorial, but i really dont want to dupplicate his geoset at all, it's size will increase very much

Needs a little more work, but you are improving though.

Thanks

It would be more like an Ice Wolf if his gauntlets is made of ice. But the model is already awesome. Nice job!
