Icon Preference - Some Quick Work

Hey there! (Hope this is the right forum...) I recently did some MPQ trawling & discovered a series of images that, I thought, would make pretty kickin' icons. So with my INCREDIBLY limited abilities & a copy of GIMP, I went to work.

The poll above is just asking for some base-line opinions about which one is better; I went crazy with the Gradient tool & couldn't decide. I think I will be uploading this/these to the Icon section once I decide which one(s) are the best.

As a bonus, I've attached the other icons I "made" from this same trawl; "made" being in quotes because (aside from the dragonling) I literally just replaced the blue background with black & then border-ized it. Really not a lot of work, but potentially useful (if, of course, there isn't already a good, Warcraft-y ladder/magnifying glass... Couldn't tell with Search all wonky).

Please post actual images of the icons. It would be a lot easier for everyone to give a feedback.
