:/
Ok I removed the candle; it just wasn't working right. Part of the problem with the lighting was trying to adhere to the original front ambient light of the concept, while at the same time introducing more realistic light sources. I think we can all say I failed 100 percent in this area.
So I tried now to have the harsh shadows from the window, but I still have this weird ambient light in the front so it looks strange. This whole piece may just be fucked and I don't know if it's possible to fix it without starting over.
Your mugs are uneven and not in angle with the table.
...I'm having trouble seeing this.
The shadow from the fingers should not be there at all
Gone.
The hands are also not on the mugs properly, its best you add a handle.
I agree on the wizard but the warriors hand looks fine to me.
Guy on left, his right arm is too long/stretched from the wrist..compare the bracer on his other arm.
I think I know what you mean but which hand are you talking about? It sounds like the right arm you are talking about is actually his left.
The light from the window shouldnt really "curve" to light source alot of things,
Should only be outlines now, will try to make it seem more like a soft glow in appropriate places.
Coins and candle are also off angle. The coin looks like its cnp'd from somewhere as they look very out of place with everything.
Coins removed, they were placeholders anyway. I'll see about the candle.
The wizards face looks very fake and plastic.. it doesnt look worn or aged at all,
....The wizard face is literally a cut and paste of the other guys face, does the other guy look plastiky? Also he isn't necessarily old, he just needs a shave. Maybe I'll age him a bit, I just got kinda lazy on his face.
his beard is also too fake...its like its all stylized from wax or fake hair
Yeah I guess I never really finished his beard.
Paper back then..wasnt that thin.. they were thick worn parchments that were heavily folded and crinkled.
Ok it's pretty hard to tell that I added thickness to the paper. I might go and add some more wrinkles to it, but honestly the paper is like....the least of my concern right now.
